Proud mom moment: Our pigs made “poop-kins”

What’s a poop-kin?

Paxton and Cooper ate a lot of pumpkins this fall — I’m talking entire pumpkins.

And now the seeds they pooped out are growing in one corner of the yard.

I pick up poop one or two times a week. I had no idea one piggie was pooping in this corner (they always poop in the same spot) so the seeds had time to make their way into the ground and grow.

I transplanted two of the three plants into an area they can’t get to as easily. If they survive the transplant, I’ll move the third plant and the boys can eventually eat the pumpkins they “grew”.

They ate squash the other day. Is it bad if I hope the squash seeds grow, too?
